Little Haul gone BIG!!! H2O, Fabindia, TIGI, NYX n Maybelline will make u go mad!

Like i told you guys in the last post, it happened... Though that doesnt mean that i've become a shopaholic or something!!!  Let's continue with the reviews... I got some H2O products, Fabindia products and the famous TIGI!!
Okay first off The H2O set- I was once again made to believe that price is quality . the better the price the better the quality.... it's a happy and also a sad thing...but getting on, The marine revitalising Shampoo and Sea marine collagen conditioner are HG products for me. sometimes when you wanna take a break from all the chemicals of normal shampoos and conditioners and also give ur hair a break to relax n condition this is the perfect shampoo although u can use it everyday!!  The combo gives unbelievable shine and conditioning to ur hair!! Although the downer is that it contains sodium laureth sulfate.... it's still an amazing product however frizzzy haired girls BE CAREFUL!! this wont calm the frizzies!! but u can just use TIGIs leave-in conditioner for that!!! Believe me this group will work wonders!!!! got them for Rs 1160 (shampoo) n Rs 950 (conditioner) both 370 ml

The next set of Shampoo n cond. are H2O Bath Aquatics Natural Spring collection.
This is a gentle combination and great for summers when your hair gets sticky and u can wash it everyday but it wont strip off ur natural oils... I would recommend it for oily haired girls... This again contains SLS... which it could have done without..... got it for Rs. 600 (shampoo) and rs. 680 (conditioner) both 250 ml

The next product is TIGI LOVE PEACE PLANET SOY ORANGE CINNAMON STRAIGHTENER AND DEFRIZZER!! Phew quite amouthful isnt it??! I loved this one. It's sort of an organic heat protectant and helps to keep away the frizz.... i use this with my straightener and it's a nice product! It has such an amazing orange blossomy smell to it with a hint of cinnamon some may be put of by the scent though....
got it at a price of Rs. 1152 for 250 ml. it's a bit pricey but oh well....

Next is Natural Bath and Body's Ylang Ylang whipped cream. It's for oily skin n has vit E. The perfume is extremely overpowering n that put me off.... The cream is more like an off white gel in a medium gel like consistency and spreads easily enough. this is good for moisturizing but the smell is frankly too much....
the only good thing is that its natural and moisturizes a bit...

Fabindia lip balm in vanilla flavour is the most mouthwatering!!! (To those who like vanilla!)
It's a good essential to keep with you...

Lotus herbals launched a new line of sunblocks that takes care of premature signs of aging, cancer, etc n has UVA n UVB. they're available in SPFs 20, 30, 40, 50, 70 n 90 there's also a matte sunblock gel for oily skins.... I tried the SPF 5o sunblock spray and the matte gel. both of them didnt keep me from tanning but the amount of tanned pigmenation was quite little. My skin was atleast one or one n a half tones darker....when i was in the sun for the whole day also it was pretty harsh and this tanning after 15 days so i was shocked at first but it seemed a bit reasonable...

Fabindia's Rose geranium gel scrub is an essential for oily skin..... But it's fairly average just exfoliates with natural ingredients...

Aromathereapy oils are hands down HG products as there's just no competition for them!! I got Jojoba and lavender oils and the former helps hairfall the latter helps pains and aches with a wonderful smell which is great for my mom n granma!!!! ^ ^

More baout cosmetics- Maybelline collosal kajal- has staying power just as mentioned in product!! which is absolutely GREAT! i was pleasantly surprised about this product!!

Next are NYX HD studio photogenic grinding powder as well as the primer. These are extremely EXPENSIVE ! the primer's for Rs. 2280 and the powder for Rs. 2480!!!!! The primer can be wore with just ur transluscent powder and it gives u a glow like u've just had a facial with sunshine!!! The same goes for the powder which is mineral enriched paraben n talc free. There's just one downer- it comes off when u get sweaty!!!!!! But otherwise even for oily skin, it blends in without any problems, no cakey patches, reduces appearance of fine lines and prevents sweat for upto an hour if ur in hot climate but generally it stays on far better. Girls with dry skin please moisturize !!!!

 Maybelline's waterproof mascara stays on for two days if u dont remove it with an eye make up remover. its really great cuz it doesnt clump at all though the first time u hav to be quite careful!!! but its a keep for me!!
Maybelline's BB creams have taken Asia by a storm!!! so how could i not try them???!! I tried all three shades!!!! The natural n nude make my face brighten and hav a lil dewy finish but radiance is best! It sort of makes my skin have this super healthy glow!!! so whatever ur skin tone is dont forget to try all the shades!!! u may get different results from each one!!!! though i wanted even more of them to find a shade close to my skintone...

PHEEEEEEEW! I'm duped!! There's still a lot more to come as my crit over movies, mangas and Taiwanese, Korean n Jdramas   are up next!!!!!!!! Look forward to it!!!!!!!!!

Reviews of John Frieda products!!!

The reason that it's been this late, before you ask me, is that i was on a holiday!!! Where better to enjoy and laze in Summer than in BALI!!! A huge WHOOPIE!!! Although i had intended to be lazy there, the water sports turned out to be extremely inviting and i ended up exhausting myself with everything!!! but can't really complain.... BTW Eat, Pray, Love is an AWESOME MOVIE!! Julia Roberts always chooses wisely doesn't she?? And one of her destinations is BALI! Seemed nostalgic when i saw it....
Speaking of what i've been catching upto, SUPERNATURAL SEASON 7 has me hooked!!!!! rather obvious isnt it?
Though the next sitcom i'll be revealing is something that i haven't mentioned before.... It's sort of new and old together...... I'll give you a hint- Who's the most attractive con artist that you ever knew? don't get it? Ok here's another hint- The smartest detective that you've come across?? Still lost? For those who figured it out- BINGO!!! It's WHITE COLLAR's Season 3!!!!!!! Stareted tonight and i wouldn't have missed it for the world!! Mathew Bomer (plays Neal Caffrey) is one of  my few crushes in all the actors that i've seen.... This time he seems to be in another spot of trouble...as always.... but can't get enough of him!!!

 I was alomost going to forget about this another series, ALMOST. This attractive honey haired grey eyed shrewd man must have atleast caught your notice once right? Who else am i talking about but the charismatic mind-reader/'psychic' Mr. Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) !!!! He's apathetic and only loves to provoke people.... but he gets his results that way.... simply amazing isnt it? The Mentalist is your typical series about the consultant psychologist working with the police force to catch criminals and solve crimes but Patrick Jane gives it a little playful tweak with his endearing 'law breaking' attitude.... Worth a watch!
Anyway i'm straying from the subject of my post. Remember i told you i had ordered for a little haul well the quantities of these 'little' hauls increased and now guess what? it's a BIG haul and the reviews can't be put of much longer... so i've seperated them in a bunch.
this first review's about all those John Frieda products that i ordered. The first one that i got was the Frizz Ease smooth start hydrating conditioner. Okay let me tell you a lil about my hair- it's oily at the roots and dry at the ends and i'm always on the hunt for the perfect conditioner i've tried through Himalaya, Garnier, The Body Shop but none of them is good enough.... But this one's a pretty decent product and the smell's like those hair spa treatments!!

 So far this has worked out nicely, it leaves my hair quite hydrated soft and bouncy so it's sort of an HG for me... I'm gonna stick with this one for some time...
The next one is of course, the Frizz Ease serum, i bought the original formula and this is also a good one.

 it does upto a certain extent give that polished look but not a 5/5 result... Guess i had high expectations.

The next product is The 100% shine Glossing mist...

The description says its a lightweight mist that gives shine. My complaint is the same as everyone, the high alcohol scent is unbearable but fortunately it doesnt stay... overall this gives sort of a 3/5 gloss a decent product but not the best.

The final product is The secret weapon Flawless finishing creme.

This cream is truly a secret weapon for the hair to look healthy and shiny in a jiffy! This is definitely HG for me It works as it says and that's good enough.

My hair is wavy in the middle and curly at the bottom and the frizz is a nightmare ever since i came to live in Mumbai.... Anyway because of the curls and waves, i purchased a straightener and the glossing mist as well as the finishing creme work best after straightening finding which out i was quite happy...
Ok thats it for the review.. i know what must be going through ur minds... no swatches no before afters.... Guys gimme a break!! This is my first one, and I'm LAZY!!! but next time i'll try to sort of do it decently..
